Chelsea Battle Back To Thrash Burnley

Chelsea Battle Back To Thrash Burnley

Chelsea battled back from a goal down to thrash Burnley 4-1 in Saturday's Premier League clash.

The Blues were hoping to build on the win at Fulham but were behind after 15 minutes.

Wilson Odobert fired Burnley in front after some fine work from Lyle Foster in the build-up.

But, shortly before half-time, an own goal from Ameen Al-Dakhil meant the two sides went in level.

Within minutes of the restart, Chelsea took the lead thanks to a penalty by new signing Cole Palmer.

Raheem Sterling added a third 15 minutes later to put Mauricio Pochettino's side in cruise control.

The scoring was rounded off by Nicolas Jackson on 74 minutes as Chelsea finally recorded back-to-back victories in the league.

Chelsea are now in 11th spot, with Burnley in 18th place after suffering a sixth Premier League defeat.
