Chevron Nigeria Appoints New Chairman/MD

Chevron Nigeria Limited has appointed Richard Kennedy to the position of chairman and managing director.

The major oil company while making the disclosure on Wednesday in a statement signed by its General Manager, Policy, Government and Public Affairs, Esimaje Brikinn, added that his appointment took effect on November 1, 2020.

It said until his appointment, Kennedy was the director, deepwater and production sharing contracts, in charge of the company’s deepwater portfolio and assets.

Chevron says Kennedy will replace the former Chairman and Managing Director, Jeffrey Ewing, who recently moved into a new role outside Nigeria in Chevron’s Middle East, Africa and South America Region.
