General Motors (GM) has formally revealed that the Chevrolet Silverado EV RST First Edition that was unveiled at the CES event and emanated for $105,000 has already sold out in just 12 minutes.

GM CEO, Mary Barra stated this during an interview session.

Berra said that all the vehicles were sold out in a couple of minutes adding that reservations are still open on a dedicated page on its website for early adopters to reserve one.

The work truck variant is expected to be available in spring 2023, and GM plans to start delivering the RST First Edition that fall. The regular RST starts at $39,900, though that won't arrive until summer 2024. The automaker announced plans to double its production capacity to 150,000 vehicles per year.
