Chikere Obieshi's Death: Traders In Computer Village Demand

On Wednesday afternoon, Computer Village, Ikeja, Lagos was rowdy as traders took to the streets to demand justice for their colleague, Chikere Obieshin, popularly known as JB.

Chikere Obieshi was allegedly killed by a Mobile Police (MOPOL) officer during his birthday celebration with colleagues.

According to the protesters, the late Chikere Obieshi was an electronic dealer who owns a business name called JB Communications in Computer Village.

During a live video by The Punch Newspaper, which was monitored by AllNews Nigeria, an eyewitness confirmed that Obieshi was killed while celebrating his birthday and that they are seeking justice for the deceased.

They called on the government to look into the case with immediate effect.

Speaking on the death of her boss, a young lady who is one of the deceased employees said she wants justice for her boss.

She said her boss helped people, adding that he was a nice man who never courted trouble.

Some concerned citizens in the vicinity while reacting to the killing, described the incident as a sign of a lack of good security in the country.

They called on the government to investigate and bring the culprit to book.
