Chris Hughton
Chris Hughton, former manager of Brighton and Newcastle, was named the new coach of Ghana on Sunday with the goal of leading the Black Stars to the next Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Hughton, who served as a technical advisor for the team since February of last year, takes over for Otto Addo who resigned after Ghana's elimination in the group stage of the World Cup in Qatar.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) officially appointed Hughton as the Head Coach of the Black Stars after careful negotiations between both parties, according to a GFA statement.
