Comedian Chris Rock has shaded actor Will Smith a moment after comedian Dave Chappelle was rushed and tackled by an individual while onstage at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Tuesday night during Netflix's first-ever live comedy festival.
Chappelle was attacked by an audience member as he got close to the end of his set at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
“The man ran on stage and lunged at [Chappelle] knocking him to the floor,” US reporter Sharon Carpenter tweeted.
Soon after, Chris Rock joined Chappelle and cracked a Will Smith joke. "Was that Will Smith?" Rock said.

This incident comes after Will Smith slapped Chris Rock during the Oscars for the comedian's joke about his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith at the end of March.
Actor Jamie Foxx also reportedly rushed onto the stage to help Chappelle and apprehend the attacker, which Chappelle referred to after.
"Whenever you're in trouble, Jamie Foxx will show up in a sheriff's hat," said Chappelle.
