Clubhouse Enables Support For Web Listening

Clubhouse Enables Support For Web Listening

Social audio chat app, Clubhouse has finally enabled users to listen to replays and live rooms using a web browser for the first time since its debut in 2020.

Clubhouse noted that the new feature is currently available to users in the US and 'it is experimental so expect bugs'.

The company also said that the feature will roll out to more countries if more people find it “useful” and it will consider supporting more room types and other parts of the Clubhouse experience over time.

Clubhouse is also updating its share sheet - an interface in both iOS and Android that allows users to share content from one app to another app. The share sheet is located at the bottom of the interface when a user is in a guest room and can be used to link a session through Clubhouse, a social network or messaging app.

Both newly introduced features are expected to see Clubhouse unlock network-effect growth by making the app more widely accessible.
