Comedian Bovi Ugboma has shared a heartbreaking story about one of the Owo church massacre victims.
Many worshippers were feared dead, with several injured after suspected terrorists attacked the St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, the headquarters of Ondo State's Owo Local Government Area.
Multiple online videos documented the gruesome deaths of the church victims.
Bovi Ugboma revealed in a lengthy Instagram post that the deceased, Jumoke, had her final conversation with her best friend, Tinuke, before her untimely death.
Tinuke had called Jumoke to share the good news of her application to study abroad, according to the comedian.
According to their conversation, they were both students at Nigerian universities, but due to the ASUU strike, Tinuke was tired of having her education interrupted and was looking for a better education system overseas.
They said their goodbyes after their conversation, unaware that it would be their final conversation.
Jumoke's mother had cut their call short when she asked her to get ready for Sunday Service, where they all died tragically.
