Nigerian comedian Ereme Abraham, better known as Twyse, has refuted claims that he is gay.
While reacting to tweet from a user who claimed that he was gay due to his recent comedy skit, Twyse said he is a straight man and not gay.
The user identified as @Arvellou had tweeted “Big ups @twyse_116 I was afraid you won’t find love after coming out in that video,” the user had written in the post accompanied by a LGBT symbol.
However, reacting in a tweet on Friday, November 13, the comedian said his video does not reflect who he is, adding that he is just "a stupid person naturally."
“Helloo!!! I’m straight ASF! My videos don’t reflect who I am. I’m just a stupid person naturally but please oh I’m not gay oh," he wrote.
Helloo!!! I’m STRAIGHT ASF!

Meanwhile, the comedian, in an old interview said he never thought he would gain much fun because he only used the skits to kill boredom back then.
"Back then I just did it to kill boredom. I also found out that it was a way of escaping from being depressed. Once in a while, I made a fool of myself, my family and friends but some people found it weird. Their reaction only motivated me to push further and do more."
