‘Contour’ Is The Best Song In The World — Joeboy [Video]

Nigerian singer Joseph Akinfenwa Donus aka Joeboy has claimed that his single ‘Contour’ is the best song in the world.

Sitting with Chinasa Anukam on the ‘Is This Seat Taken?’ show, Joeboy confidently boasted that no other artiste possesses the capability to recreate a song of such calibre, emphasizing that only he can achieve such musical greatness.

“‘Contour’ is the best song in the world. Nobody can make a song like that again in this life; except for me,” he said.

When queried about the inspiration behind the song, Joeboy attributed it to the theme of heartbreak.

However, he clarified that ‘Contour’ was based on someone else’s heartbreak experience, as he himself has never personally encountered such emotional turmoil.

“Someone else’s. I’ve never been heartbroken before.

"I’ve only been disappointed, not heartbroken.

“It is just like the idea of heartbreak and the pain people feel when they are heartbroken.”

 ‘Contour’ was Joeboy’s second official instalment for the year 2022, following the release of his song ‘Cubana’.
