Angola records its first two deaths from the novel coronavirus, this is according to the country's health minister on Sunday. The two recorded deaths were the only fatalities the country has recorded of the seven confirmed cases in the southwestern African country.
Angola's Minister of Health, Silvia Lutucuta, said at a press briefing, “We now have seven confirmed cases and unfortunately two people lost their lives between last night and this morning.”

Both cases were Angolan nationals.
One of the deceased was a 59-year-old frequent visitor of the country of Portugal, while the second was a 37-year-old who had only just visited Lisbon, Portugal's capital.
