Coronavirus: Canada Restricts Entry For All Nationals Except

Nationals of all countries except for the United States are barred from entering into Canada, this restriction comes as a measure by the Canadian Government to stem the spread of the virus.

In the country, over 323 people have been tested positive for the virus, and as a form of precaution, the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau has been put under quarantine, which follows the news that his wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, tested positive for the virus just last week.

The travel restriction into Canada is lax for permanent Canadian residents, diplomats, and immediate family members of Canadian nationals.

“This measure will carve out some designated exceptions, including for air crews, diplomats, immediate family members of Canadian citizens and, at this time, U.S. citizens.

“Anyone who has symptoms will not be able to come to Canada."
