Social media giant company, Facebook, has cancelled its global marketing conference scheduled to take place in March at San Francisco’s Moscone Center due to the coronavirus outbreak.
According to a statement by a Facebook’s spokesperson to Verge, “Our priority is the health and safety of our teams, so out of an abundance of caution, we cancelled our Global Marketing Summit due to evolving public health risks related to coronavirus”.
The conference which was set to commence in march at San Francisco’s Moscone Center, already was expected to have 4,000 people in attendance.
Meanwhile, the cancelation of Facebook's global marketing conference comes after the cancelation of Mobile World Congress's Confrence over coronavirus concerns.

Coronavirus has infected more than 49,000 people to date, and 1,383 people have died so far from the disease with the higher record in China.
The deadly virus which has no cure as at now has had wide-ranging effects on the tech industry, including store closures, production shortages, and manufacturing delays.
