India's coronavirus cases have risen to 4.2 million in its Monday report, making it a step ahead of Brazil, and a step behind the US - the world's epicentre of the virus.
In its Monday report, the Asian nation reported a total of 70,000 cases bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country to 4,204, 613.
Although, Brazil leads India in the number of casualties from the disease with 126,686, while India has 71, 687.

The US leads other countries in the number of cases, 6,460,421, and recorded casualties, 193,253, making it the worst-hit country.
Globally, the number of infections stands at 27.2 million, with nearly a million deaths. Although, there have been 19.3 million recoveries recorded globally.
