The President of Liberia, George Weah, on Monday, said, during a televised addressed that travels from any country with 200 cases of infections from
Liberia recently recorded its first case of the virus, prompting this move from the country's government.
He said, “All citizens or residents are urged to avoid public gatherings and large crowds.”
The years 2014 and 2016 saw many Liberians die from the outbreak of the Ebola disease, from which the country is still reeling.

He's enjoined, strongly, that citizens refrain from handshakes or any unnecessary contact with strangers, advising that Liberians greet each other with the nod of the head.
