The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, on Thursday, asserted that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic portends danger "for our race".
Allnews reports that as at the time of publishing this report, there have been 51 confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in Nigeria. Two persons have been discharged with one death.

More than 494,000 cases of the worrying disease have been reported in over 190 countries and territories of the world, resulting in approximately 22,200 deaths and more than 121,000 recoveries.
