Coronavirus: See Pictures Of Mourinho Delivering Food To Vul

 

As the world grapples with the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, Tottenham Hotspur manager, Jose Mourinho, was spotted packaging essential supplies for the most vulnerable in London, United Kingdom (UK).

Allnews reports that Mourinho helped to deliver the supplies to the elderly on Monday afternoon.

He acted as an extra helper for charities Age UK and Doorstep Enfield.

When it comes to COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus, older people are especially vulnerable to severe illness.

It is crucial that high-risk individuals remain indoors throughout the outbreak to limit the spread of the infection.

Mourinho was among a number of helpers that dedicated their time to keeping the elderly stocked up on supplies.

'Philanthropist', Frank Khalid released a picture of the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss on his verified Twitter handle, packaging up some food, before he ventured out to deliver the shopping bags.

"I'm giving a little help to Age UK Enfield and Love Your Doorstep Enfield," said the 57-year-old.

"Of course, you can donate food online or volunteer. It's so easy to contact."

In the UK, some 83,945 people have been tested for coronavirus, with 6,650 testing positive, according to the latest statistics.

As of 24 March, more than 391,000 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in more than 190 countries and territories, resulting in more than 16,700 deaths and more than 102,000 recoveries.
