Coronavirus: Two British Airways Staff Test Positive

Two staff of the British flag carrier airline, British Airways, are said to have tested positive for coronavirus and are currently at home recuperating.

The addition to the number of people currently infected with the virus brings the total number of infected people in the U.K. to 163.

A statement by the management of the airline says, “Public Health England (PHE) has confirmed that two members of our staff, have tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.

“The welfare of our passengers and colleagues is our top priority. A dedicated team from Public Health England is in place at Heathrow to respond to any incidents.”

The London Heathrow airport staff are polishing surafces and handing out to its staff hand sanitizers as a way to “to protect themselves and our passengers.”
