Coronavirus: We Will Keep Supplying Fuel, NNPC Assures Niger

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has assured Nigerians of steady fuel supply following the implementation of the sit-at-home order in some states to control the spread of the Coronavirus.

The Group's Managing Director, NNPC, Mr. Mele Kyari, in a tweet on Saturday, assured Nigerians that the supply of petroleum products would not be affected by the lockdown.

“States have all consented to allow movement of fuel trucks and operation of stations during any sit at home action.

“Our stock and supply plan is robust and there is no need to buy more than you require at any time. We will keep supplying, ” he said.

However,  some states including Kaduna, Kano, Lagos, Rivers, Edo, and Delta has advised people to stay at home to reduce the spread of the virus as cases in the country hits 97.
