Corpers Should Avoid Night Parties, Says NYSC South East Dir

The South East Director of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Alhaji Ahmed Wada Ikaka has admonished corps members of the 2020 Batch ‘B’ stream 1A to be extra security conscious and avoid accepting gifts from people they are not familiar with.

Ahaji Ikaka gave this admonition, while been interviewed by pressmen in Awka on Wednesday. The Director had earlier embarked on a tour of several orientation camps in South East States of Anambra, Enugu, Imo, Abia and Ebonyi.

He further added that corpers should avoid late night parties and activities scheduled for odd hours of the days, giving instances of some gory incidents from the past where corp members where in precarious situations that nearly cost them their lives.

He however ,was excited about the state of health of corpers in the south east, congratulating them on surviving the COVID 19 pandemic as well as graduating from the university to embark on another phase of life, all of which, according to the South East Director of NYSC, were great feats.
