Corps members advised on multiple income streams

Members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) have been advised to create multiple streams of income.

The advise was given by the Osun State NYSC Coordinator, Agbor Ndoma Obim as ciros members deployed to the state held their inter-platoon skills acquisition competition, exhibition and closing ceremony at the Multipurpose Hall of the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede. 

The exhibition which is part of the series of camp activities brought to a close the 10 days of Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) training for the 2024 Batch A Stream 1 Orientation Course. 

"I urge you to take the SAED post-camp training seriously, Agbor highlighted the challenges arising from the present economic conditions of the country.

"I also want you not to depend on salaries from white collar jobs or similar employments."

The State Coordinator, who officially closed the SAED programme and flagged off the post-camp training exercise.

He appreciated the SAED skill trainers for their commitment throughout the programme.

The SAED monitoring officer, Bunmi Afolayan, who also emphasised the significance of entrepreneurship, encouraged corps members to seize opportunities for learning and growth.
