Aloy Ejimakor the Special Counsel to Biafra political activist, Nnamdi Kanu and the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has seemingly asked Uche Mefor, the estranged deputy-leader of the separatist group to "do your own; and leave them alone", AllNews reports.
This newspaper understands that Mefor is currently battling Kanu. This followed cracks in IPOB, as Mefor resigned his role as Nnamdi Kanu's right-hand man.
Mefor was said to have called for a change of approach and attitude among IPOB members.
Now, he operates his own online broadcast station from the United Kingdom (UK) - Biafra Human Rights Radio.
Although Ejimakor did not specifically mention Mefor, the legal practitioner's remark about 'respecting Kanu' strongly suggests he is referring to Mefor.
"In seeking solutions to Nigeria, #IPOB has paid its due in quantum blood. Respect that!" Ejimakor wrote on his known Twitter handle on Saturday.
"In leading IPOB,@MaziNnamdiKanu has made quantum personal sacrifice. Respect that!
"Do your own! Leave them alone!"
