Couple Caught Having Sex In Airplane

A couple has been banned from FlySafair, a South African airline after they were caught by a passenger getting intimate on a Durban flight in full view of other passengers.

A concerned passenger drew the short straw when the couple he was sitting next to on a local flight started to conduct sexual intimate acts openly.

He was travelling from Johannesburg to Durban on a flight on Monday, April 17th.

He was seated in the aisle when the female traveller next to him reached out to touch her partner's private area.

He explained that while the aircraft was waiting to take off on the runway, the two began performing these acts in front of him.

To show the flight crew, the man captured the incident on video.

Nevertheless, despite his evidence, nothing was done to stop the act.

He even followed it up by sending an email, the passenger explains.

“I’m horrified how such an event could have little effect on the involved passengers. Surely, there are consequences for the actions of people in South Africa’s skies?”, Stated the passenger's email. 

The passenger claims that because public indecency is illegal, he anticipated the couple would face severe penalties.

A lot of schoolchildren were on the plane, the man continued, and he was mostly worried about what would have happened if one of them had sat in his seat.

After speaking with News24, a South African news outlet, and making contact with the passenger who had complained, FlySafair spokesperson Kirby Gordon gave a follow-up response to the reporter.

He revealed that the couple had been barred from flying on their airline.

The spokesperson continued, saying that "passengers are generally very decent on flights" and that "sexual activity on flights is unusual."
