The former Attorney General of the Federation, Mohammed Adoke has been put on trial over fresh charges of money laundering.
The charges brought against the former AGF border on bribery, money laundering, and an abuse of office.

Adoke has been granted a N50 million bail, by a Federal High Court in Abuja, with one surety after pleading not guilty to the charges brought before him from his involvement in the Malabu oil deal scam.

Adoke and Aliyu were first brought to trial in 2019 before the High Court in Abuja after he voluntarily returned to the country from Dubai.
