An Oyo State High Court has adjourned until Wednesday the case of the impeachment proceeding by the Oyo State House of Assembly against the Oyo State Deputy Governor, Rauf Olaniyan.
Justice Ladiran Akintola gave the adjournment in order for the claimant counsel to file a reaction to the responses by the defendant's lawyers.
The status quo order earlier given on the impeachment proceedings given by the Oyo High Court on the Oyo Deputy Governor still subsists.
While Chief Afolabi Fashanu appeared for Olaniyan (claimant), Otunba Kunle Kalejaiye led the legal team of the defendants.
Meanwhile, the Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly and the Clerk are the first, second and third defendants in the matter respectively.
