Barcelona's midfielder Philippe Coutinho will be out for 3 months after successful surgery for his injury and would miss a reunion with countryman Neymar during the UEFA Champions League in February, the Catalonia club confirmed.
AllNews understands that the midfield maestro will be out after the surgery and won't be available for selection but it opens the way for Pedri and Trincao to continue integrating with the Barcelona first team as Coutinho's presence has hindered much participation.

The surgery was done on his left meniscus with the persistent injury in that region of his leg.
Another player who would benefit from Coutinho's absence is Ousmane Dembele although provided he does not have his own injury as he has been known to have.

Coutinho has been better since returning from his loan spell at Bayern Munich where he won a continental treble but his good form has dipped as of later with injury proving a more insurmountable obstacle for the Brazilian.
His selection in the Brazilian team could also come under serious threat if he would be missing over 90 days of not playing in any official competitive match with Copa America around the corner.
