The Kenyan Ministry of Health says that it has recorded 23 fresh coronavirus cases, making the total number of cases amount to 672.
Speaking with journalists, the Chief Administrative Secretary for Health in the country, Rashid Aman, said that the new cases involve one Burundi national and 22 Kenyans who were part of the 1,056 samples tested within the last 24 hours.
Rashid said that Kenya had recorded 32 recoveries from the deadly disease, bringing the number of recoveries in the country to 239.

Total number of deaths in the country stands at 32, after two patients who were receiving treatment at a hospital in Mombasa died.
Kenya has tested 32,097 samples since the country reported its first case in March.
As part of the country's efforts to stem the spread of the virus in the country, the government of the country placed bans on large gatherings, shut down activities in educational institutions, imposing a midnight curfew, and closed its borders.
