Former Barcelona and now Atletico Madrid striker, Luis Suarez has tested positive for COVID-19 while on international duty for his country Uruguay before the clash with Brazil.
AllNews understands that Atletico Madrid confirmed earlier that none of their players are positive for the virus but another routine check-up test conducted on Monday indicated otherwise, though Torreira tested negative.

Luis Suarez will miss the clash between Uruguay and Brazil, and the next club competition in the La Luga Santander against Barcelona, the UEFA Champions League match against Lokomotiv Moscow, and even doubt for the match against Valencia as the isolation period fall between these periods.
He is presently asymptomatic and would undergo a 14-day isolation period.
Except for Suarez, other Uruguay national team players came back negative for the test.
