Another coronavirus case has been confirmed in Bauchi state, making the total number of cases in the state three.
This news was disclosed by the state's Deputy Governor, Baba Tela, during a press briefing on Tuesday, while giving an update on the state's performance in controlling the spread of the virus at the Bayara Isolation Centre.
The newly confirmed case is a 55-year-old man who came into contact with someone who had tested positive for the virus.

Last week, the Governor of Bauchi, Bala Mohammed, was confirmed positive, Allnews reports.
The second case of infection was a friend of the Governor with whom he had contact.
