COVID-19: Bauchi State Governor Tests Negative

The Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, has tested negative for coronavirus.

The governor had tested positive for the virus on the 24th of March, going into self-isolation after coming into contact with the son of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

According to a tweet on the Governor's Twitter handle, Bala said, “Alhamdulillah. I just received the green light. My second test for #COVID19 returned negative.

“My gratitude also goes to the Imams, Ulamas, Pastors and all religious leaders within and outside the state for their constant prayers, also our meticulous Bauchi #COVIDー19 team, and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).”
