After being hospitalised for weeks, the Prime Minister of Great Britain, Boris Johnson, has made his first public appearance on Monday, stating that the country was starting to "turn the tide" on the pandemic.
Boris, resuming work, with an emaciated figure, and longer locs, apologized for staying away “for much longer than I would have liked."
In his statement, he appreciated the collective effort of Britons for their adherring to the directive to stay at home, despite the death toll of 20,000 the country recorded since the outbreak.

He added that their adherrence to the directive made it less stressful for the National Health Service, esnuring that they were not weighed down by the volume of cases in the country, “and that is how and why we are now beginning to turn the tide."
“I know it is tough and I want to get this economy moving as fast as I can.
“But I refuse to throw away all the effort and the sacrifice of the British people and to risk a second major outbreak, a huge loss of life and the overwhelming of the NHS.”
