    The United States saw an increase in its death toll from coronavirus by 1,450 in the past 24 hours, this is according to a tally by John Hopkins University, making the number of deaths in the country, 67,600.

    As of 8:30 pm on Sunday, the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the United States recorded by the university has it over 1.15 million cases.

    The US remains the hardest-hit country by the coronavirus pandemic.

    The death toll recorded on Sunday fell from its 2,502 fatalities recorded on Saturday.
