COVID-19: Edo Has Discharged  1014 Patients - Obaseki

 

The Executive Governor of Edo state Godwin Obaseki has taken to his social media page to give a  situation report of the state's COVID-19 tally.

The Edo Governor who revealed that the state has so far discharged a total of 1014 patients, further disclosed that the number of death recorded risen to 58.

Further disclosing that the discharged patients have been rejoined their families, Obaseki, however, reinstated his administration's commitment to protecting the people of Edo state.

Obaseki further emphasized in his tweet that more attention will be placed on protecting the elderly indigenes from the deadly pandemic.

"We have discharged a total of 1014 #COVID19 patients from our isolation facilities. The patients have since rejoined their families. However, the number of deaths has risen to 58. We remain committed to protecting our people, especially the elderly, from this pandemic. #Staysafe," tweet by Obaseki read.
