Senegal has extended the suspension on all flights both to and from its airports until 31 May in a bid to contain the growing coronavirus pandemic, this was disclosed by the Minister of Transport, Alioune Sarr, AFP reports.
The details of the disclosure of the date of the suspension, announced on Twitter, were sparse.
Senegal halted all passenger flights, except cargo businesses, under a suspension that took effect mid-March.
The suspension originally applied to countries like France, Italy, Spain and a number of other countries in Europe and North Africa before it became a blanket suspension.
