COVID-19: Former Chelsea, Now-Real Madrid Goalkeeper, Thibau

Former Chelsea, present Real Madrid goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois has tested positive to COVID-19 after the recent test conducted in Belgium ahead of the start of the UEFA Nation League. 

Real Madrid players are back in the training ground to burn off fats and keep fit for the defense of their Championship on the La Liga trophy. With the exception of players on International duty, others are back for the training with the club's head coach, Zinedine Zidane.

Courtois reported for the Belgium national team and underwent a routine test and the result has revealed that he is positive but will undergo another test to be sure. If he tests positive again he will be taken off the team for Mignolet against Denmark and Iceland.

The positive result will sure delay his return to the Madrid team which could see Andriy Lunin between the stick on matchday 1 of the La Liga season.

The confirmatory test will be conducted on Courtois to see if the virus is present in his blood sample. This will be the decider if he would be in the Belgium National Football Team or he will undergo isolation for the next 14 days.
