COVID-19: Global Death Toll Exceeds 120,000

The global death toll from the novel coronavirus has exceeded 120,000, with nearly 70 percent of that number emerging from Europe.

The total number of recorded deaths worldwide from the disease is 120,013 since its outbreak in China, with 81,474 of that number recorded in Europe.

The numbers have been collated from data made available from national bodies and the World Health Organization (WHO).
