COVID-19: Jill Biden Ends Isolation After Testing Negative

The United States first lady Jill Biden will end her COVID-19 isolation after receiving two consecutive negative tests and quarantining for five days.

The White House announced, as reported by different states media outlets on Sunday.

The first lady's spokeswoman, Elizabeth Alexander said in a statement that the first lady will leave South Carolina and join President Joe Biden in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, where he is vacationing.

Last week, Jill Biden had previously tested positive for the coronavirus while vacationing in South Carolina with her husband.

After becoming infected, she remained at a private residence after the president left the State.

The first lady experienced cold-like symptoms and was prescribed the antiviral treatment Paxlovid, her spokeswoman added.

Her husband, the US president also just got relieved of the COVID-19 as he recently recovered from COVID.

He first tested positive on July 21. His physician declared on August 6 that he tested negative.
