After an impressive debut against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League last week he was a surprise omission from the squad as United were held to a goalless draw against Chelsea at the weekend.
The full-back was also absent in Solskjaer’s side demolition of RB Leipzig on Wednesday night.
The reason was known as Manchester United posted on their Twitter sometime after the UCL fixture the health condition of the full-back.
