COVID-19: Man Utd New Signing, Alex Telles, Tests Positive

Manchester United new signing, Alex Telles, has missed the last two games after testing positive for COVID-19 as the full-back will self-isolate until recovery.

AllNews understands that the positive test was why Alex missed their last two games and will not be available for selection against Arsenal in the weekend fixture

After an impressive debut against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League last week he was a surprise omission from the squad as United were held to a goalless draw against Chelsea at the weekend.

The full-back was also absent in Solskjaer’s side demolition of RB Leipzig on Wednesday night.

The reason was known as Manchester United posted on their Twitter sometime after the UCL fixture the health condition of the full-back.

The defender became the second and latest member of the first team to have tested positive after Paul Pogba missed international duty in September having contracted the virus.
