The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has released the list of COVID-19 related deaths in affected states.
AllNews reports that the NCDC in its daily updates on Monday, announced that the country recorded 229 new cases.
According to NCDC, 90 of the cases were recorded in Lagos, the epicentre of the pandemic, raising the state's total to 3595.
The country recorded a total of 233 deaths with 2311 discharged patients as of Monday.
COVID-19 cases were recorded in 34 states including the Federal Capital Territory.
However, Kogi and Cross-River states are yet to record any case.
According to the list disclosed by the health agency, Lagos, Kano and FCT have the highest number of deaths, being the epicentres.
