COVID-19: Ondo Announces Date To Bar Unvaccinated Civil Serv

Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State

The Ondo State Government has said that civil servants must be vaccinated before November 1st or be shut out of their offices.

The State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Donald Ojogo, said this at a meeting with the management and entire staff of the ministry over the deadline given to workers in the state to get vaccinated on or before November 1st, 2021.

The commissioner, who spoke through the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Adeyemi Adeyemo, stressed that the vaccine was safe and helpful in controlling the spread of the COVID-19 disease.

It can be recalled that Kaduna State had also given civil servants in the state deadline for vaccination before it would start restrictions on staff who had defaulted.
