COVID-19: Only 1 Death Recorded As NCDC Confirms 188 Fresh Cases

Lagos tops 47 fresh COVID-19 cases as the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) records 188 fresh cases in 19 states across the Federation.

According to the statistic released on the official twitter page of the disease control center, Lagos having 47 fresh cases was closely followed by Enugu which had 25 cases and Plateau with 21 cases.

Other states with fresh COVID-19 cases includes FCT(14) Abia(11) Delta (10) Bauchi (8) Ondo (8) Kaduna (8) Ogun (6) Imo (5) Benue (4) Katsina (4) Taraba (4) Edo (3) Kwara (3) Oyo (3) Rivers (2) Yobe (2).

The statistic released by NCDC takes the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 56,017, with  43,998 discharged patients. 

Also, only one death was recorded in the last 24 hours taking the COVID-19 death toll to 1,076 deaths.
