The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 213 fresh COVID-19 cases bringing the total confirmed cases of coronavirus in Nigeria to 58,062.
The statistics released on NCDC's official twitter page for Friday, September 25, 2020, indicated that only one death was recorded bringing the death toll of COVID-19 to 1,103.
Leading the tally of states with the highest COVID-19 cases are Lagos and Plateau with 51 fresh COVID-19 cases each.

Other states with COVID-19 cases include FCT, 29; Rivers, 18; Ondo, 12; Oyo, 9; Osun, 8; Gombe, 7; Ogun, 7; Kaduna, 5; Enugu, 4; Edo, 3; Jigawa, 3; Kano, 3; Benue, 1; Delta, 1; Sokoto, 1.
With activities gradually returning to normal, Nigeria has, in recent times, recorded a decline in COVID-19 cases, with 8,456 active cases.
