COVID-19: Sudan Records 237 Cases

Sudan announced that it had recorded fresh coronavirus cases on Sunday. It recorded 24 new cases, making its total number of COVID-19 cases 237.

The country has also recorded a total of 21 fatalities from the disease, as stated by the country's health ministry in a statement.

The health ministry said that it had also recorded one recovery, bringing the total number of recoveries in Sudan to 20.

It has enjoined all its residents to adhere to the guidelines set down by health authorities and to report any suspected cases of the virus.

As part of the measure to curb the spread of the virus, the country's capital city of Khartoum was put on curfew.
