COVID-19: Two Migrants Shot And Wounded After Flouting Lockd

Two migrants seeking assylum on the Greek Island of Lesbos have been reportedly shot and wounded after they flouted the coronavirus quarantine directive, this is according to officials.

The casualties, two men, were from Iran and Afghanistan, and it was reported that they went to the camp's infirmary with gunshot wounds, sources at the Moria Camp stated.

The men were rushed to a local hopsital but were told that their conditions were not serious.

The men explained to the police that they had stumbled out of their camp, which has been put on lockdown with the rest of the migrant camps in Greece to curb the spread of the virus.

Two camps have recorded coronavirus cases, with 150 people testing positove at a migrant hotel located on the Greek mainland.
