The British Government, in a bid to control the spread of the COVID-19 virus in the country, is expected to add another three weeks to the nationwide lockdown, even with signs indicating a peak in the spread of the virus.
The country's Foreign Secretary, Dominic Raab, who is sitting in for the recuperating Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, who is to announce the anticipated extension will need to convene with ministers before the announcement is made.
With Britain's death toll rapidly approaching 13,000, the government says that it will not relax on its directive on the restriction of movement in the country.

According to the Secretary of Health, Matt Hancock, to BBC, “It is too early to make a change."
“I don’t want to put all of that good effort to waste,” said Hancock, who himself has also had coronavirus but recovered quickly.
“Because if we just released all the measures then this virus would run rampant once again, and we can’t let that happen.”
