A 13-year-old Brit has died just days after he tested positive for the coronavirus, this news was confirmed by medical personnel and the family of the deceased, adding that the boy had no prior illness.
This death, which occurred on Monday, is said to be Britain's yongest death from the virus. On Tuesday, fellow European nation, Belgium, recorded its own youngest death, a 12-year-old girl
“Sadly, a 13-year old boy who tested positive for COVID-19 has passed away, and our thoughts and condolences are with the family at this time," spokesperson for the King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust explained.

“The death has been referred to the coroner and no further comment will be made.”
