The gunmen had left his car strewn with bullets.
Cubana Chief Priest, in a statement, shed more light on the situation.
He debunked some false information that was spreading about the incident.
Cubana confirmed the incident and assured the public that all of his people were safe.
He appreciated everyone who called or texted to check on him.
According to Cubana, the incident occurred in Anambra, not Imo, as many media outlets reported.
He went on to say that the incident occurred on his way to work in Asaba.
