Popular socialite and Instagram celebrity, Pascal Okechukwu, better known as Cubana Chief Priest, has debunked claims that he assaulted a woman in Owerri, Imo state capital.
AllNews reports that rumours earlier made rounds that Cubana punched a woman at his nightclub in Owerri.
Twitter user @Rukkyjib, claimed the incident occurred on Saturday, August 23, 2020, when the socialite punched her but was stopped by people.
She wrote “Cubana Chief Priest formally known as Paschal Okechukwu assaulted me when I was working at Cubana, Owerri on Saturday 23rd August 2020. Witnesses at the scene saw him punch me in the face and after doing so, Chief Priest was held back by paying customers from attacking me any further. I have not taken the assault lightly and have made a report to get him arrested. Swipe for hospital reports and police reports. Say No to violence against women, Women’s lives MATTER.”
However, reacting in an Instagram post, Cubana said he had instructed his legal team to take action.

The allegation comes two months after reports said Cubana was detained by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Monitoring Unit in Lagos State.
AllNews understands that Cubana was detained after he arrived at the force headquarters Annex in Lagos, around 10 am on Thursday.
Reports said the socialite who happens to be the Executive Director, Cubana Group was invited for alleged misuse of police officers and illegal use of a weapon.
