Cubana Shooting: 'Your Attitude Is Condemnable' — DJ Switch To Burna Boy

DJ Switch has condemned the attitude of singer Burna Boy towards the shooting at Cubana Night Club which allegedly left two people hospitalised.

In a tweet, DJ Switch stated that Burna Boy's attitude is sad because he wields power and influences Nigerian youths, who have very little to emulate.

She, therefore, charged the police to investigate the matter thoroughly i.e if they are capable of doing so.

“Burnaboy, our youths have very little to look up to & emulate. As an African giant, you wield power & influence & so ur attitude towards the incident is sad & condemnable.

"We must act better to deserve better. The police shld investigate thoroughly (if they are capable),” DJ Switch tweeted.

It was reported that five policemen attached to Burna Boy were detained for attempted murder after shooting two fun-seekers— Irebami Lawrence and another identified simply as Tolu— at Club Cubana on Victoria Island, Lagos.

Steph Briella, a London-based Nigerian and the partner of one of the victims of the shooting at Club Cubana, took to her Instagram page on Monday to narrate what transpired.

On June 8, Briella, in the company of her partner and her best friend, who visited Nigeria from America for their childhood friend’s wedding, went to Club Cubana, Victoria Island, Lagos, when Burna Boy’s aides allegedly shot at them.

Briella said the Grammy winner allegedly watched his escort shoot her partner because the singer’s escort allegedly made several advances at her.

She claimed he told her that Burna Boy wanted her to come over to his section of the club and how she refused, explaining that she was married.
