Cummins West Africa Appoints New MD

Cummins West Africa Limited, a power solution provider has appointed Mark Oni-Okeke as its new Managing Director.

According to a statement, the firm revealed that  Oni-Okeke replaces Okechi Igwebuike, who had been reassigned to lead the industrial product management team within the Power Systems Business Unit at Cummins Inc. Columbus Indiana, USA.

Oni-Okeke holds a Higher National Diploma in Electrical Electronics Engineering, and a bachelor’s degree in electrical and communication Engineering from the University of Kent in the UK.

“Oni-Okeke brings over 15 years wealth of experience with a successful record of business growth and strategic partnerships for our Power Generation business unit under the Africa & Middle East, Europe and particularly Nigeria,” the statement reads in part.

The statement further explained that in his new position, he will continue to facilitate the company’s strategic business growth and sustainability by increasing operational efficiency, expanding market share, driving continuous innovation, and improving customer satisfaction.
